Undertoys New Briefs

Undertoys briefs have been in missing in action for sometime now and it’s been quite a while since we’ve seen anything new from the Down Under mens underwear designer, but now they have returned with a new range of mens briefs in the same child-like designs as we’ve seen before but now with bolder colours, more sprite and imagination, everything we’ve come to expect from Undertoys.
Featuring prints such as Kapow – similar to the old style Batman and Robin comical violence scenes, Comics – an old style series of comic book illustrations, Battleboats – a designers take on the age old Battleships game, World Series, Shooter and Doodle briefs. The later could almost be a pun but do in fact look like a child has had an epileptic fit all over Daddy’s underwear with cool little stick men going about their merry way in a variety of ways. Undertoys underwear takes us back to the days of old when kids used quarters at the local arcade and games were still blatant mash-ups of colourful pixels and three quarter circle men ate fruit, dots and ghosts.
The designs also extend beyond the brief to the elastic waistband, decorated with an old style game score system on some designs and and a standard waistband with a sewn on Undertoys label.
The briefs are made from 90% cotton, 5% spandex and possibly a further 5% magic fairy sprinkles. So if you like the idea of being taken back to your childhood years or reminded of things you had all but forgotten then you simply must get yourself a pair of the new Undertoys underwear. Besides the imaginative prints they don’t claim to have any wonderful new powers or claim to be made from any bold and exciting fabrics like Banana or soy and are simply your basic mens brief, set apart by their creative flair and vivid imagination.

Men’s Bikini Briefs

The bikini brief falls somewhere between the classic brief and the male thong. The classic briefs have been around since the 1930’s, it’s refreshing to see that they now have a complimenting counterpart. Offering less bulk than the classic brief, the bikini brief has the ‘barely there’ feel, and is not visible underneath even the tightest clothing. Traditional briefs most often are available in cotton or cotton blends, but the alluring bikini briefs are available in a wide variety of enticing fabrics, such as nylon, silk, mesh blends and premium cotton blends. The color options are not quite as extensive; most are available in solid colors with decorative waistbands.
Bikini briefs typically do not have a fly opening and if one appears to be present it is faux. They offer a sleek, tighter fit that is smooth and contouring along the body. Perhaps it is the sleekness of the design that makes the more snug fit. For support and lift, the bikini brief is certainly superior to the classic brief. Many of the bikini briefs have high cut legs, providing a full range of motion, which is excellent for the active or sports minded man.
Comparatively, without the bikini brief, the choices were the classic brief or the thong, and the bikini brief offers a compromise between the two that men have been looking for, less material without just bare skin, full coverage and a more comfortable, supporting pouch.
Reviews have indicated that some men have difficulty purchasing the bikini briefs because of their packaging, stating that they appear to look too much like women’s underwear when they are packaged. However, none have said that this feeling lasted any time at all after opening the packaging – On the body it is an entirely different state of affairs.
Boxers or Briefs?

Sounding like a cliché, yet asking a very legitimate question, is it boxers or briefs? After much research the real question being asked is, “Security or freedom?” and the truth is that the jury is split. It comes down to a simple matter of preference.
Some men prefer the freedom offered by boxers, designed with nonrestrictive, wide leg openings, relying on the elasticity of the fabric itself for support. While other men prefer the feeling of being secured and safely packaged within a pair of snug briefs. Briefs contour to the body better and offer upfront positioning. A fair compromise between boxers and briefs are the ‘boxer briefs’. The marriage between the two styles produces a pair of body contouring, loosely fitted underwear that offers coverage from the waist to the thigh, adorned with a keyhole, snap, pouch or no fly, depending on the style chosen.
Designers have merged the two styles of underwear to create the boxer briefs in attempt to appeal to a broader base of consumer. Typically men that favor the brief style underwear are athletic and live active lifestyles; they prefer this style because the design offers more support with notably less fabric. The design of briefs also changes the way that a man fills out his pants, which is an important part of looking and feeling good for some. Boxers are more known for their comfort, the availability of fabric and color choices, and for keeping unmentionable areas cooler; all of which are the attractions that draw these men to prefer boxers over briefs.

About Obviously
Just as the name implies, the Obviously Just for Men Underwear Company is obviously just for men; their name adequately fits their business, from their company motto to their products to their website design. This business has been built around men and the men’s underwear industry, for the modern man, by the modern man.
Obviously Just For Men was established in 2005, in Brisbane, Australia, by two brothers, Robert and Daniel Miljkovic, with the commitment to create distinctive, anatomical underwear for men. They wanted something comfortable, something that was designed for the larger male.
A passionate approach led them down the road to the improvement of existing designs, as well as the creation of new designs in their entirety. Re-branding an old style with new colors just was not acceptable; they honestly wanted to improve upon the products, thus Obviously Just For Men was born.
They began their venture by examining each and every annoying detail of men’s underwear and went about finding solutions for the same until they settled upon a design that everyone would enjoy. Their result was the anatomically styled, uniquely sleek and self-branded “Obviously just for men” line. This line quickly reached markets from Australia to the United States, United Kingdom, Japan and Europe. The new year of 2009, hopes to bring an expansion of styles to include lines for women.
Supporting the broader community, Obviously Just For Men has signed up to sponsor the Prostate Cancer Research Center through the Queensland Cancer Fund, of which they will donate each time a purchase is made from a qualifying line.
