40 Years of HOM Men’s Underwear

HOM Men’s Underwear were first established in 1968 in Marseilles. Then under the name of Innovation in Masculine Elegance. Underwear fashion was pioneered forward by HOM by creating underwear that was high in quality for the active man of any age who would strive for success in both life and work. Setting a benchmark of distinction, quality and design that still today sets a high standard for other brands to aspire.
Establishing a reputation in the 70’s for creating an avant garde style and stretching the boundaries of contemporary underwear. The eccentricity was evident in the see through designs and ultra soft polymid and lycra cotton mix that attracted considerable interest in the HOM Men’s Underwear ranges. It has been said that HOM were far ahead of other brands at the time.
in the 80’s HOM proceeded one step further, when most brands were pushing the mens loose fitting boxer short, HOM Developed the boxer short with an inner brief that provided the support of a supportive pouch yet creating the look of a loose fitting free fitting boxer. A garment the active man was seeking for quite some time.
HOM became most innovative in the 90’s with the launch of the H01 mens underwear design. The design included the horizontal opening and used anti allergy fabrics, taking their usual focus for the active man to new and hygienic levels. This design even made it to the National French Collection exhibited at the Louvre Museum.
Through the years HOM Mens Underwear succeeded from strength to strength with the launch of the 3001 range, a couture range of stylish mens underwear for the modern male that shouted opulence, seduction and sexuality.
HOM are truly deserving of celebrating 40 years of bringing innovation, style and design to men’s underwear.
