Undertoys briefs have been in missing in action for sometime now and it’s been quite a while since we’ve seen anything new from the Down Under mens underwear designer, but now they have returned with a new range of mens briefs in the same child-like designs as we’ve seen before but now with bolder colours, more sprite and imagination, everything we’ve come to expect from Undertoys.

Featuring prints such as Kapow – similar to the old style Batman and Robin comical violence scenes, Comics – an old style series of comic book illustrations, Battleboats – a designers take on the age old Battleships game, World Series, Shooter and Doodle briefs. The later could almost be a pun but do in fact look like a child has had an epileptic fit all over Daddy’s underwear with cool little stick men going about their merry way in a variety of ways. Undertoys underwear takes us back to the days of old when kids used quarters at the local arcade and games were still blatant mash-ups of colourful pixels and three quarter circle men ate fruit, dots and ghosts.

The designs also extend beyond the brief to the elastic waistband, decorated with an old style game score system on some designs and and a standard waistband with a sewn on Undertoys label.

The briefs are made from 90% cotton, 5% spandex and possibly a further 5% magic fairy sprinkles. So if you like the idea of being taken back to your childhood years or reminded of things you had all but forgotten then you simply must get yourself a pair of the new Undertoys underwear. Obviously for Men have released an updated style to their range with the Chromatic and Contrast collections adding to their already unique line of mens underwear. I have always loved this brand of underwear because of the soft feel of the fabrics and the accentuating pouch in the front and own both briefs and trunks. Whilst not that big on briefs I have found with Obviously for men they don’t feel as though they are cutting into my crotch and don’t leave any of those unsightly red marks at the end of the day. The newest collections are certainly a nice addition as I prefer to have some colourful underwear and tend to sway from the traditional tight and whites.

Seeing the unmistakably enlarged front section of the Andrew Christian Shock Jock models, I knew I just had to give this new enhancement underwear a try. I’m relatively conservative when it comes to the underwear I buy as I am a believer in practical solutions for my underwear needs. I think the Shock Jock may in fact come under that category.

For something that so amazingly “fills out” the front of your pants they are also surprisingly comfortable. I don’t ordinarily wear briefs either for in the past I have always found that elastic in the crotch to be uncomfortable. This is not the case with Andrew Christian’s line of underwear and makes for a very comfortable “all day” wearing brief.

The enlarged packaged is achieved by a removable padded cup in the front, which does not restrict movement and very comfortably envelopes your genitals for a snug fit.

A word of warning though, you will surely continually be tempted to grope yourself throughout the day and keep looking down in awe at the weapon of mass destruction in your pants.
