About Gigo
Gigo Underwear is the creation of one Javier Ortega from Colombia. He began his career as an underwear and swimwear model, strutting his stuff for other brands and companies that were popular in his country. Being so involved within the fashion industry and having a degree in business administration he set out to create his own line of mens underwear that fused together his knowledge of street wear, colour and that quintessential South American spice.
In January of 2004 along with his business partners Javier began Gigo a designer mens underwear brand that he describes as a “Colour Explosion”. This description of the brand couldn’t be more accurate, along with the fantastic mixes of materials, textures and prints that contrast and compliment wonderfully. Such a bold statement has made this brand very popular very quickly, so if you haven’t had the opportunity to try them out, then you too should be as bold and give them a go.
